Meetup is a social app with lot of interesting features. There are many things to do, meet new people, find support, share ideals and promote your business.
Generally, its primary service is to connect you with community of different people worldwide to share your interest and discover happening events. If you live in a big city, the available meetups can be as diverse as sports teams to language learning groups. In more rural areas, the choices can be more limited.
However, there are many issues coming with regards to users no longer interested with Meetup and wants to delete the app. Deleting or closing an account is a permanent erasing of your information and cannot be restored. We don’t know your reasons but if you’re already convinced to close your Meetup account or group, here is two options on how to delete or close Meetup account.
How To Delete Meetup Account
Step1
- Open the Meetup app on your mobile phone, if you’re using web visit meetup.com.
Step2
- Sign in to your account.
Step3
- Tap on “profile” at the top right section.
Step4
- Select “Settings”
Step5
- Move down to the bottom and click on Delete your account.
Deactivate (Close) Meetup Account By Sending Email
1. Open your email account that is registered with Meetup.
2. Now compose an email and enter the email address support@Meetup.com .
3. On Subject Type “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
4. Now write an email requesting them to delete your account from their database, and to wipe all your information with them.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. This process typically takes a few minutes, but it may take longer. If you do not receive an email notification within 24 hours, attempt to login to your account to see if it is still active.
